We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway, and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can be used to block wind and road noise while driving along the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is quite quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative brakes that allow “one pedal driving” by simply lifting the accelerator. The EV9 is extremely reliable and can be fully charged in just three hours at home or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode prioritizes torque as well as cruise control and handling while sport mode focuses on speed.
